A Bit of Fun

Getting around activities such as Inchnadamph requires some transport. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from one end of the activity to another. We provided some vehicles for you to use, some of which provide an opportunity for some fun. A quad-bike is available in most activities, whilst a sailing dinghy is included where lakes or the sea are present. Sometimes in Geology-Verse you will also be able to fly.

Environment can also provide some entertainment. In Scotland midges and sheep are both designed to interact with the player, with some fun results. In other activities a wider range of animals will be included to increase immersion and interaction with the environment.

Although it is not usually considered fun, at least on outdoor fieldwork, weather effects are also included in Geology-Verse. For the sake of immersion, fieldwork in horizontal driving rain is an experience students shouldnt miss. For convenience educators can do the impossible and disable weather during online sessions.
